Delete your GutenTalk account

You can delete your account in the GutenTalk app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or here, without the app.

What's deleted

  • Your account and your email address
  • Your name and profile from Google, if you signed in with Google
  • All synced data: learning profile, practice history, scores, flashcards and their reviews, sound statistics and synced settings

Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.

What isn't

  • Data still on your phones. It stays there until you uninstall the app or use the delete options in its Settings. Recordings were only ever on your phone.
  • Anonymous reports of AI replies and crash reports. They aren't linked to your account and are deleted after 6 months.
  • Anything you sent to Anthropic with your own Claude key. Manage that in your Anthropic account.

Step 1 of 2. Enter the email address of your account. We'll send you a sign-in code to confirm it's you.

Can't sign in?

Email support@gutentalk.com from the address of your account and ask us to delete it. We'll delete the account and all its synced data within 30 days and confirm by email.
